Combo Classes (ages 3 and up)
We offer a combination class of Tap and Ballet. This is a 45-minute class. During this combo class, Ballet is always taught first.
Ballet
Ballet is a slow, graceful style of dance, and is the foundation for all dance styles. It is learned through repetitive movement at the barre, across the floor, and in the centre.
Tap
Tap is making rhythmic sounds with your feet. It can be a traditional Broadway style or a funky hip-hop inspired style of tap.
Jazz (Kindergarten and up)
We offer a 30-minute beginner Jazz class. The more advanced classes are 45 minutes. Jazz is a technical, stylized type of dance, which incorporates tricks, such as kicks, leaps, and turns.
Pom (Kindergarten and up)
We offer a 30-minute beginner Pom class. The more advanced classes are 45 minutes. Pom is a cheerleading style of dance, which incorporates kicks, toe touches, ripples, and sharp motions.
Hip Hop (6th grade and up)
Hip Hop is a 45 minute class. It is a street style of dance that can either be fast and full of high energy or slower with a beat driven groove. This type of dance is usually seen in videos and commercials.
Clogging (Kindergarten and up)
The clogging dance style originated from the Appalachian Mountains but quickly moved into mainstream dance. It was one of the dance styles used in the famous “Riverdance”. It is known for its high energy and foot stomping sounds.
